Home Schooling Resources

Issue: Are there any home schooling resources committed to preserving the teachings of the Catholic Church? Are there other resources available that are not Catholic but respect the Catholic home schooling parent?

Response: Yes, there are many resources available to Catholic home schooling parents.

Discussion: Many home schooling resources are not oriented to Catholic parents and their children. Some include anti-Catholic material. Before purchasing materials, we recommend determining the nature of the curricula. Regarding resources that respect the teachings of the Catholic Church, Catholics United for the Faith recognizes those noted below. Some of these resources are not Catholic per se, but respect the religious affiliation of their customers. We also recognize other resources may be available of which we are not aware. Please contact us with helpful information.

From Our Founder

Let each member have patience, rooted in a religious trust in the Lord. What he sows now in tears, he may some day reap in joy. It may even be that he will not be granted the joys of harvesting; that for him the harvest will seem impossibly distant. But let him be convinced that what he has with his dedication sown in anxiety and tears the Lord Jesus Christ will reap in due season.

H. Lyman Stebbins
